After the incredible success of Draig Beats in 2018, the team behind the festival have decided to do it once again for 2019.
The festival is raising money for the Dr Sophie Williams Trust, to help Sophie move to her home in North Wales after 4 years in intensive care and nursing home placements.
The event will be held again in Treborth Botanical Gardens, a place very special to Sophie. Treborth have been supportive of the Draig Beats festival from the beginning and this year the organisers will donate a proportion of the proceeds to the Friends of Treborth Botanical Gardens.
Headlining this year’s event is Baka Beyond a fantastic uplifting world music group that fuse music of the Baka people from Cameroon with other styles from Celtic and African traditions.
The band behind the festival, Drumbago, will also be playing and the Bacanas are really excited to be joining them!
A family friendly festival it will be taking place from 10 am to 8 pm on June 8th.
